Professional Biography
Dr. Barot grew up in Gujarat, India. He attended M.S. University of Vadodara where he completed medical training and commenced specialist Anaesthesia training in 2001. On completion, Dr. Barot undertook a fellowship in Cardiac Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. Migrating to Queensland in 2006, he worked at Hervey Bay Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Royal Brisbane, culminating in fellowship with Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. Dr. Barot moved to Sunshine Coast in 2012 and currently undertakes both private and public work. He is a Senior Staff Specialist in Anaesthesia at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Dr. Barot is passionate about providing the highest quality in anaesthesia management and in respecting patient’s rights. He is also passionate about teaching the highest values to the next generation of perioperative health care providers.
Outside Interests
Dr. Barot likes four wheel driving, dirt/road motorcycles and European Football.
