Dr Probert has a particular interest in Regional Anaesthesia and nerve blockade to improve post-operative pain relief.
Professional Biography
Dr Probert attained his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1993 and trained at the Royal Brisbane Hospitals, specialising in Anaesthesia. He obtained his fellowship with the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2002, after which he worked in the United Kingdom for five years. He returned to Australia to work as a staff anaesthetist at the Nambour General Hospital and transitioned from public to private practice in 2012. He currently works full time providing anaesthetic services for a number of surgeons and proceduralists at the various private hospitals on the Sunshine Coast.
Dr Probert has over twenty years experience in Anaesthesia and works closely with his surgical colleagues to provide optimal care for all his patients.
Other Interests
Outside of medicine, David enjoys practicing karate along with his sons and is proud to have earned his black belt in 2022. He is a supportive and loving parent who takes great interest in the activities of his children.
