Professional Biography
Dr Caren Zhang is a Specialist Anaesthetist in the Sunshine Coast. She dedicated to providing her patients with safety and comfort on their surgical journey.
Caren grew up in Sydney and graduated Medicine from the University of New South Wales. After becoming a doctor, she went on to specialise in Anaesthesia. Following completion of her core training in Anaesthesia, she went on to complete subspecialty training in Regional Anaesthesia in Perth as well as Aeromedical Retrieval Medicine at CareFlight. Caren was accepted as a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2019.
Caren is a passionate advocate for quality patient care in her practice. She is involved in anaesthesia education for anaesthetic trainees in the form of teaching, mentoring and simulation education.
Other Interests
When not working, Caren enjoys spending time with her family. She remains an enthusiastic foodie and will plan travel itineraries around good eats.
